Andy has developed CSR partnerships with private sector for CCOs to deliver health, education, community safety initiatives. Prior to this Andy was a Director at Liverpool and Wirral Chambers of Commerce, and Head of International for the Mayor of Liverpool.
Leagues and Football Club commercial departments across Europe are increasingly recognising the value of the work club community organisations (CCOs), foundations and trusts can deliver. National and Regional governments are commissioning CCOs to deliver programmes that improve health, education and inclusion programmes. Private sector companies recognise the unique reach and positive impact that CCOs bring. They are increasingly sponsoring leagues and clubs to align their brands to such activity, create volunteering opportunities for their staff, or simply give back to communities. Andy will share his experiences and knowledge about the growing importance of football club community organisations in delivering public & private sector CSR partnerships.
