Aston Villa Foundation Head Guy Rippon to Speak at EFDN Conference
Head of the Aston Villa Foundation Guy Rippon has been added to the list of speakers at the 14th EFDN Conference. Guy will be presenting Aston Villa’s programmes to favour the social inclusion of individuals with disabilities through football.
“Working With and For People With Disabilities” will provide an overview of the work of the Aston Villa Foundation and the club’s provision for people with a range of disabilities. From match day experiences to fan and community engagement – Guy will share his experiences looking at the people involved, what works well and some honest self-reflection on how to improve.
Guy is the Head of the Foundation and Community Partnerships at Aston Villa. He joined the organisation four years ago and has spent 20 years in the world of community and sport for development, with a career that has seen him work across local government, the Football Foundation, the English Football League Trust and now Aston Villa.
