FC Barcelona Foundation confirmed as panellist at the 10th EFDN Conference

EFDN is happy to announce that Aisha Al-Said Albella, Head of Partnerships and Collaborations at FC Barcelona Foundation, will be a participant of the “”Achieving the SDGs through sport” panel discussion at the 10th EFDN Conference.

At the 10th EFDN Conference, Aisha will represent FC Barcelona Foundation in the panel on UN Sustainability Development Goals (SDGs). Alongside representatives from SAP SE and UNDP, she will explore and discuss how football, and sport in general, contributes to achieving the SDGs and creating a more peaceful, sustainable future for all. The Foundation’s Strategic Plan, programmes, partnerships and campaigns are aligned with the SDGs, specially the 4th (Quality Education), the 5th (Gender Equality), the 10th (Reduced Inequalities) and the 17th (Partnerships for the Goals). In particular, the Foundation’s specific framework of action is Sport for Development. All work revolves around the idea of Sport as a tool to prevent violence, improve social inclusion of vulnerable groups and improve the access to education.

Aisha Al-Said Albella

abella 2 (2)Aisha Al-Said Albella has a Bachelor in Political Science and a Master Degree in Evaluation of Public Policies and Development Cooperation. She is currently the Head of Partnerships and Collaborations at FC Barcelona Foundation. Before working at the FC Barcelona Foundation, Aisha gained experience in the field of Development Cooperation through working in different organisations, such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation Agency, the University of Cantabria and other international NGOs.
