FIRST SPEAKERS 11TH EFDN CONFERENCE ANNOUNCED
EFDN is honoured to announce the first speakers of the 11th EFDN “CSR in European Football” Conference.
Wim Beelaert, CEO KAA Gent Foundation
Wim is responsible for managing the operational activities of the KAA Gent Foundation, including business planning, financial planning, operational planning and delivery. Wim was influential in the creation of many innovative CSR initiatives, making the KAA Gent Foundation one of the most respected CSR organisation in Belgian professional football. One of the initiatives includes making the Ghelamco Arena an open stadium. The publicly accessible spaces in the stadium can be used for non-profit and social projects by third parties for a total of 15 days every year.
Peter Klomp, Head of Corporate Communications UEFA
Peter Klomp has been active in sports sponsorship for many years. He joined UEFA as Head of Corporate Communications in 2016. He is responsible for all of UEFA’s corporate messaging across analogue, digital and social channels, including internal and external communications, CSR campaigning and reputation management. Peter is the lead for the conception and implementation of the multiple award-winning #EqualGame campaign to increase diversity, inclusion and accessibility in European football.
