Gabor Deregan – Speaker at the 20th EFDN Conference 

Gabor Deregan, Executive Director of The International Fair Play Committee, is a confirmed speaker at our 20th EFDN ‘Making Football Matter’ Conference in Athens from the 13th until the 15th of November 2023.

Gabor Deregan is the Executive Director of the International Fair Play Committee. He has more than 10 years of experience in promoting Fair Play values on international level and he is a Fair Play Awardee. Furthermore, he is a Graduated Expert in Sports Law. He was a speaker during the 18th EFDN Conference in Budapest as well. Since its foundation in 1963 the goal of the International Fair Play Committee (CIFP) is the worldwide defence and promotion of fair play. The CIFP has an important educational role to play in supporting fair play, promoting a better understanding of fair play values and preventing adverse behaviour. In cooperation with various national governing bodies such as ministries, Olympic committees, sports federations, media and sports press associations the CIFP encourages and welcomes the establishment of national fair play committees.

During the presentation at the Conference, Gabor Deregan will start with an introduction of Fair Play values in general. After the explanation, he will continue with a situational exercise with the audience. Followed by watching the video together and make an analysis.
