Harm Oppers (PSV Foundation) will be presenting at the 14th EFDN Conference
Sports Coach, Harm Oppers from PSV Foundation, will deliver a presentation on the impact of being part of the PSV Amputee Football Team, at the 14th EFDN #Morethanfootball conference in Breda.
Harm Oppers has worked for the PSV Foundation since 2014. As a Sports Coach of the PSV Foundation, Harm has worked in different areas of community work of the club from Eindhoven. He started in programmes such as Eurofit, PSV United and was involved with charity programmes such as Fan of the match and PSV related wishes for fans. Nowadays, Harm Oppers is involved with Walking Sports activities and Amputee Football. In 2019 PSV Foundation adopted the Dutch Nation Amputee Team. Harm Oppers is involved with this programme.
During the presentation Harm Oppers and captain of the team Wesley van Ingen will show the impact of being part of the PSV Amputee Football Team and will explain the goals, being ultimately to let amputee football be reachable for everyone that can take part no matter what kind of level. Both sides of the Amputee Football that PSV Foundation is involved in will be shown. The first part is the ‘professional’ team that wants to compete with the best teams in Europe and is going to take part in the UCL at the end of May in Poland. The other part is the ‘amateur’ sport that has to be reachable for everyone with an amputee, that wants to take part.
