James Hill – Speaker at the 19th EFDN Conference
James Hill, a Marketing & Communications Coordinator at Northampton Town FC Community Trust, is a confirmed speaker at our 19th EFDN #Morethanfootball Conference in Seville from the 20th until the 22nd of March 2023.
James Hill is a Marketing and Communications Coordinator and his role is to raise the profile of the Community Trust and showcase the impact within the local community. He passionate about making a positive difference within local communities allowing everyone to have access to quality sport provision. James has recently graduated from Loughborough University with a first-class BSc Sport Management degree and a Diploma in Professional Studies due to his placement work at Northamptonshire Sport.
During the conference in Seville, both James Hill and Phillip Smith will present their presentation called ‘Tackling Loneliness – EFDN More than Football Award’. Together with Phillip, James will be outlining the Northampton Town FC Community Trust Tackling Loneliness Project which has been shortlisted for the More Than Football Award. In addition to that, he will talk about how the project was delivered, who it supported and the impact it has, and continues to make, to reduce feelings of loneliness across the community.
His presentation will include the following items:

- The impact it made
- How the mini pitch prize would benefit our organization
