Kaelin Staats and Simon Cageling – Speakers at the 21st EFDN Conference
Kaelin Staats and Simon Cageling, strategy, policy and impact CSR at FC Groningen Foundation and CSR Manager at FC Groningen Foundation, are confirmed speakers at our 21st EFDN #MoreThanFootball Conference in Warsaw from the 22nd until the 24th of April 2024.
Kaelin Staats is a dedicated emloyee of FC Groningen in de Maatschappij. With a background in Sports Management and a passion for social impact and FC Groningen, she’s been involved in the development of FC Groningen in de Maatschappij. Her experience ranges from the development of the strategy, to the process of impact monitoring and the contact with our partners.
Simon Cageling is a manager of FC Groningen in de Maatschappij (the FC Groningen Foundation). With a background in Sports Management and football trainer, he’s been leading initiatives that leverage the power of football to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. With the focus of FC Groningen in de Maatschappij of working against physical inactivity, Simon is dedicated to fosterering positive change and creating opportunities for all the members of our community both on and off the pitch.
During the conference Kaelin and Simon will talk about physical inactivity. Half of the Dutch population is insufficiently active and is developing overweight. To reverse this trend, FC Groningen aim to encourage everyone to move more and move better. In this presentation for, Kaelin Staats and Simon Cageling share their experiences and the development of their strategy towards working against physical inactivity in their region. Besides that, they would like to share their experiences with impact monitoring and the development of the impact strategy.
