#Morethanfootball Action Weeks will kick-off at 10th EFDN Conference
The kick-off event of the #Morethanfootball Action Weeks 2018 will take place on 21st and 22nd of March at the famous stadium Parc des Princes, home ground of Paris Saint-Germain.
The Opening Ceremony will be part of the 10th Conference of the European Football for Development Network. The conference that will be centred around the topic #Morethanfootball provides a platform to exchange knowledge and best practices about football-based Community and Social Responsibility programmes.
Holding the kick-off event at the 10th #Morethanfootball Conference provides an outstanding opportunity to highlight the wider impact of CSR in European football. At the Opening Ceremony leading Figures of the World of Football in CSR will be in attendance to support the fantastic work of European club football. Next to that, the event constitutes a call-to-action for all clubs around Europe to keep further developing the transformative power of football to change lives.
The conference and inauguration event strongly aim at bringing the world of European football together and providing two-days after which attendees will hopefully look at CSR in Football with renewed enthusiasm and a fresh outlook.

KICK-OFF WITH PRESENTATION OF MORETHANFOOTBALL PROGRAMMES AND BEST PRACTICES
Overall, the event will be dedicated to bringing together leading practitioners and experts from around Europe to connect, learn and build on each other’ s experience. To compliment the Action Weeks, among others, Real Madrid and Chelsea FC will share their knowledge on the impact CSR is having within the European societies.
Additionally, key representatives will present their flagship #Morethanfootball programmes and best practices. The dynamics of the conference and kick-off will include workshops, panels and networking opportunities giving insight into a variety of aspects surrounding the conference’s theme Morethanfootball.We expect to welcome more than 140 representatives from clubs, football leagues and associations from over 20 European countries. In addition, key media channels are being expected to support the #Morethanfootball Action Weeks Opening Ceremony.
The event, hosted in conjunction with the foundation of Paris Saint-Germain will offer an interesting programme, network platforms to connect with colleagues and representatives of the world of CSR in Football.
