Nicole Winkelhake – Speaker at the 19th EFDN Conference
Nicole Winkelhake is the Coordinator of Climate, Environment & Resources at FC St. Pauli and will be one of the speakers of the 19th EFDN #Morethanfootball Conference in Seville from the 20th until the 22nd of March 2023.
Nicole Winkelhake is a Coordinator of Climate, Environment & Resources at FC St. Pauli. Before joining FC St. Pauli in late 2021, she worked as a Project manager for the Football Supporters Europe and gained years of experience in the field of acquisition, conception and implementation of funding applications in the NGO sector. At FC St. Pauli, Nicole initiates, designs and accompanies projects and actions in the field of environmental sustainability. In addition, she is in charge of networking in sustainability interest groups, institutions around the stadium and in the district and coordinates projects such as “Football for Climate Justice”.
During the conference in Seville, Nicole Winkelhake will present her presentation called ‘Not Perfect But Better’. The presentation will showcase the period of coordinating and supporting the charitable projects in areas such as memory work, homeless aid, resocialization and help for refugees, coordinated by FC St. Pauli. Whether it is the climate crisis, the pollution of land, air and water, the extinction of species – in view of the global challenges, the club wants and needs to take greater steps to act as sustainably as possible. To realize these goals, FC St. Pauli has developed a comprehensive strategy with clear objectives to which all areas of the association will contribute.
