Peter Gheysen, Head of Club Brugge Foundation, to present “The Bear and His Scarf” initiative at 14th EFDN Conference
EFDN is pleased to announce that Peter Gheysen, Head of Club Brugge Foundation, will present the club’s “The Bear and His Scarf” initiative at the 14th edition of the EFDN Conference.
Peter is the ‘Head of Foundation’ at Belgium football club Club Brugge. As a true believer of the social power of football, he joined the organisation 12 years ago, after completing his degree ‘Sports & Business Management’ at the VIVES University of Applied Sciences (Bruges). As Head of Foundation, he is responsible for all strategic planning, partnerships and coordination of a small team of employees and up to 100 volunteers & project partners. Since taking up his post as Head of Foundation, Peter has made CSR a permanent part of the football organization, significantly increased the working budget and the number of impactful community actions they deliver.
