Simon Taylor presents nominated project of Chelsea FC Foundation
Simon Taylor, Head of the Chelsea FC Foundation presents their nominated project “Say No To Antisemitism” at the 13th EFDN Conference in Barcelona in November. It is one among the 4 projects that have been selected for the shortlist of the More than Football Award 2019. The applicants selected for the shortlist are invited to make a 15-minute presentation of their project. After all four presentations, the EFDN conference attendees will choose the winning organisation.
Say No To Antisemitism
Chelsea FC Foundation’s Say No To Antisemitism programme is tackling antisemitism both at Chelsea and in the wider community. Bringing together a range of partners from across the Jewish community and equality campaigning organisation, the initiative is focused on raising awareness of the dangers of antisemitism and providing support and education to staff, stewards and fans.
Simon Taylor – Chelsea FC Foundation
Simon Taylor is Head of the Chelsea FC Foundation, one of the leading community organisations in sport. Taylor is a graduate of Newcastle University with almost 20 years experience of the football industry. After leaving the Football Foundation charity, Taylor joined Chelsea in 2005 and helped create and establish the Chelsea Foundation in 2010. He has overseen the successful expansion of Chelsea’s community programmes throughout South England and 45 countries internationally.
