Sue Gregory (Everton in the Community) Showcases Education Impact Model – increase the social impact of your community delivery

Sue Gregory, Chief Executive Officer at Everton in the Community, is the next confirmed speaker at our 17th EFDN #Morethanfootball Conference in Liverpool on 9 & 11 May 2022.

Sue Gregory is Everton in the Community new Chief Executive Officer and will oversee the continued growth of the official charity of Everton Football Club. Sue is currently Everton in the Community’s Director of Youth Engagement, Education, Employability and Sports Development, will take the helm as of 1st July 2022
Sue Gregory brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to her new role, having successfully led and developed her area of Everton in the Community since 2012.  Sue will work closely with charity Directors and the Board of Trustees to continue to grow and develop the Club’s charitable arm and embrace the many opportunities presented by the Goodison Park Legacy – a £100m community-led regeneration project on the Goodison Park site and the opening of The People’s Place, Everton in the Community’s dedicated mental health and wellbeing hub, later this year.
 
Reflecting on her appointment as Chief Executive Officer, Sue Gregory said: “I have seen this amazing charity grow and develop enormously over the last decade and during my seven years as Director, yet there is still much more to come from us and I am incredibly excited for what lies ahead.
“The opportunity to take the reins of Everton in the Community at such a pivotal time in its history is a great honour, and I look forward to continue working closely with our fantastic staff, directors and supporters to drive the charity forwards even further.”  

Everton in the Community and Everton Football Club is recognised worldwide for the warm, passionate, and unbreakable bond it holds with its local community.   Everton in the Community CEO, Sue Gregory, will highlight the societal impact being made by the Charity through its ground-breaking work to tackle unemployment, support education, combat poverty, improve health and reduce crime across the Liverpool City Region.
Sue will bring to life the future growth plans for Everton in the Community aligned to the legacy development at Goodison Park and a new stadium at Bramley-Moore Dock, which make up The People’s Project and the potential transformational impact on North Liverpool, Liverpool City Region and the Northern Powerhouse, as well as deliver a series of benefits that will be vital to the city’s socio-economic recovery following the Coronavirus pandemic.
