Yuriy Sviridov – Speaker at the 19th EFDN Conference
Yuriy Sviridov is a Marketing & Communications Department Director at Shakhtar Social and will be one of the speakers of the 19th EFDN #Morethanfootball Conference in Seville from the 20th until the 22nd of March 2023.
Yuriy Sviridov is a Marketing & Communications Department Director at Shakhtar Social. He graduated in Enterprise Economics at the Donetsk State University and has managed a variety of projects since 1995. Yuriy was appointed Head of FC Shakhtar Marketing and Communications Department in 2010.
During the conference in Seville, Yuriy Sviridov will present his topic called ‘Football for Peace’. The topic will showcase the representatives of UNHCR, SCORT Foundation and FC Shakhtar who will share their experiences related to help refugees, help people in conflict situations and the role of football organisations to start a campaign to raise donations for those in need. The need for safe refuge is becoming rapidly more desperate as terrified people flee war-torn towns and cities across the country. However, with few safe havens remaining, Shakhtar alongside local authorities utilises the Lviv Stadium to open its doors to those in need.
